Umamy uses a login method via LinkedIn cookies. These cookies allow you to act as if you were logged into your account, without having to enter your credentials each time.

But LinkedIn, for its part, regularly applies security rules: as soon as it detects unusual activity (such as a connection from a third-party tool or a change of IP address), it may decide to revoke these cookies. Result: you are automatically disconnected from Umamy.

When this happens, and to prevent it from happening too often, you just need to follow this connection method:

  1. Log in to Umamy.

  2. In the left menu, go to Integrations.

  3. Click Connect Account button

  4. In the newly opened modal, click Connect LinkedIn Account.

  5. In the connection popup, choose Cookies, fill out the required information and click Continue.

How to get your LinkedIn cookies?

  1. In a new tab, go to linkedin.com and make sure you are logged in.
  2. Open your browser dev tools (F12 for Chrome and Firefox or Ctrl+Shift+I / Cmd+Option+I for Safari).
  3. Go to Application (or Storage) → Cookieswww.linkedin.com.
  4. Find the li_at cookie.
  5. Copy the Value of li_at into the field above, then click the Connect button.
